The VI Council of the Arts recently approved a grant that will provide students the opportunity to create a clay tile wall. This spring event will unveil the student’s creation and exhibit professional art available for auction benefitting the school.
Susan Cissal truly understands the difficulties many of her students face every day. Ms. Sue struggled through grade school because of her undiagnosed dyslexia.
When asked about how her career has affected her personal life Miss Janie replied, “Teaching is my personal life! There is no distinct line. Teaching is my life!”
1) The award ceremony today at Government House has been changed to 3:30 PM (rather than 5:00). Abigail Vidale will receive the award on behalf of her team for 2nd place in the First Lady’s Health Initiative competition. 1 – Our female lamb died during the night last night. Ms. Sue reports the lamb had stopped eating over the weekend and this morning she found her dead. Students and teachers are feeling pretty blue. Many of us had gotten so used to having both lambs here and were involved in the feeding schedules. [...]
