The Kingshill School

We just finished our 2011 OFF THE HILL WEEK. This is a tradition at KHS since its inception.  The school is located on a hill; hence, most learning takes place OFF THE HILL.  This year many of the students and teachers spent the week aboard the Roseway Schooner – The World Ocean School.  For more about this program visit their website at http://www.worldoceanschool.org/.  Funding for this program was through Title V, a federal fund available to both private and public schools.   The land lubbers spent the week touring St. Croix taking pictures.  Part of their day was spent on computers experimenting with photo alteration.  Each student was given a DVD on which to save all their work.  A few of their photos will be displayed on this site, but for a more extensive look visit our Facebook site at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/The-Kingshill-School/280761518644 .
